Delete your Hynk account

You can delete your account in the app or request deletion without reinstalling it.

Delete in the app

Open Settings → Account → Delete account. You can also use the account removal option in Help. Review the information, type delete, and confirm. Wait for the server confirmation.

Request deletion by email

Email [email protected] with the subject Delete my Hynk account and your registered phone number, including the country code. We need to verify ownership before deleting account data.

Never email your password, a WhatsApp verification code, or private chats. An email request is not an automatic deletion confirmation.

What is removed

After confirmed deletion, active sessions end. Your identifying profile fields, unmatched interests, chat messages, contact-discovery records, invitations and support submissions are removed from the live service. Private media access ends immediately, and files are queued for deletion with retries.

What may be retained

Limited transaction and safety records, and a credential-revocation identifier, may remain for security, dispute resolution and legal obligations. Backup copies may persist until replaced under the hosting retention schedule. They are not accessible through the app.

Existing matches after account deletion Existing mutual matches remain available to the other participant after deletion. They can still reveal your name, phone number and matched intent. Your avatar and chats are removed, and chat with the deleted account is unavailable.
